This released was created to highlight the intended mixing and production for the song entitled 'The Phoenix Pt. II' which was recently released on the 2nd full length 'Confection: A Syncretism Of Guises & How All Mad Men Go To Heaven'.

The other side of this release is a chronology of the first part of 'The Phoenix' and it's conceptual essence. It includes the acoustic draft of the song structure which later evolved into additional entities. P.V.G. (The Phoenix, The Viaduct, The Gate) was originally entitled '...And The Phoenician Observes The Viaduct' which was a spoken word medium which can be viewed as the turning point of The Project as it is the first studio recorded composition to feature complex sound textures that we conceived through experimentation. This would then develop into the The Project's trademark sound signatures and originality.
